Eh, really questionable prose here, kind of like a logical Lewis Grizzard. Stick with Feynman's non-fiction (or his book of letters, Perfectly Reasonable Deviations from the Beaten Track). ...more

Grappige en ontwapenende autobiografie van een uitzonderlijk genie, die even vlot leest als de streken van Pietje Bell...
Feynman is op allerlei vlakken fenomenaal en controversieel. Niet alleen nobelprijswinnaar fysica, briljante prof, maar ook mede ontwikkelaar van de eerste atoombom...
We komen heel veel te weten over zijn flamboyante levensstijl, zijn gebrek aan respect voor autoriteit en zijn drang om alles zelf eens uit te proberen en dan te begrijpen.

Very entertaining and amusing book. I laughed out loud a few times, and it was really great to get a look inside such a brilliant (and mischievous) mind.
The physics and science that was mentioned was very interesting too, and not too hard to understand (I'm off to google ants!) ...more

I'm embarrassed to say I heard this book on tape while working. I truly enjoy Feynman for his accessibility to someone like me. The novice. His writing style is engaging and lighthearted. I look forward to reading some of his more technical writing. ...more
