Clint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's a sexy mofo! And Jace makes a really great lover for Clint. Clint has been a favorite character of mine so I was a little nervous with the kind of man, SE Jakes would set him up with. I was not disappointed.

Okay, so this is a quickie 'cus I gotta move right on to book 5 Bound For Keeps. I just gotta say how much I enjoyed this intense bit of hot, he-man, alpha-action. Honestly, something about the blurb had me questioning whether or not I wanted to read this, but I couldn't be happier that I read it. Re-reading this was just supposed to be a quick skim. Get through all the good parts with Rex and Sawyer in prep for Bound To Break, but that's not what happened. I was totally engrossed again. How could I have forgotten so much? How could I have thought I could just do a quick read? How? There is a reason this was my favorite book of the series at the time I first read it. How could I have forgotten so much? How could I have thought I could just do a quick read? How? There is a reason this was my favorite book of the series at the time I first read it. I'm so glad I did this. Makes me want to go back and re-read them all. I'm missing everyone from before. But first, Bound to Break.

Good, so good. I really liked this. These guys go through years of trying to building a relationship. So many issues to get through. So many! Once they finally get going a little, one of them is called away, sometimes for months at a time. To be so committed to trying for something, only to have it just out of reach. Over and over again, they try. It would be so easy to give in and give up. So easy to just let it be and be alone, wandering through life, not having anything to hold on to. Jace and Clint are put through the paces, big time. Little pushes and helpful nudges from great friends make all the difference.

Another plus in this is the relationship we get to see building between Sawyer and Rex. I never suspected we'd get two for one, or rather, one and a half for one. Sawyer and Rex's story is not as full as Jace and Clint's, but it was still great to see.

These men represent our Country. The agencies they work for send them on hard and unforgiving missions that can get them killed. Through it all, they find love and understanding. Partnership. Not just sex, but something more. A connection that can not be broken. When their emotions and feelings for each other are too hard to convey, they struggle through it and finally give in. Tough men getting extremely emotional... that was something. The struggle. I loved it.

This book is a beautiful journey that is so much more about the characters than anything else. So far, my favorite of the series. ...more

I love this series. I have not been disappointed with any of the books to date, this one is no exception. There are two stories in this, but the main one concerns Jace Reynolds and Clint "Tomcat" Sommers. Jace a Navy SEAL goes undercover for the FBI in a motorcycle gang called the Killers. He does this to get his cousin into WITSEC. Clint goes undercover for the CIA in order to bring the gang down. It's lust a first sight for these two, then it develops into a greater bond as the story progress ...more

HOLY MOTHER LOVER TOMCAT! Holy eff this was another great read in the Men of Honor series. I can't stress to you enough how much I LOVE S.E. Jakes! I mean the girl knows how to write a steamy hot as hell alpha male story that pulls you under the minute you start reading.

I enjoyed this installment of Men of Honor. I loved seeing the other guys from prevous stories. This one reads a bit differently in that it is almost two stories in one. Not sure if I really liked that or not, because it was a bit jumpy. Another thing that kept jumping out at me was the use of names seemed a bit excessive at times.
