Plank manages to balance the hard task of dismantling toxic masculinity without demonising everyone. A very constructive book that unfortunately probably won't be read by the people who need to read it most, but still beneficial to all who read it.

Fantastic book. Liz Plank tackles the rising problem of 'toxic masculinity', or the negative expectations of men and the consequences they face when they do not conform to the stereotype. I absolutely loved the coining of 'Masculine Panic Warrior' to talk about commentators constantly pushing for going backwards, without looking at the consequence.
