Pros: I like how these adult sisters join together at Christmastime and are truly there for each other, once they unlock each other's secrets. It's heartwarming. Also, the story takes place in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, so I enjoyed the setting.

Cons: Mature content/romance. Several instances of cussing.

Shelves: scottish-reads, christmas

This is beautifully written and is perfectly festive. The characters are well developed and easy to relate to. The book explores the different expectations of three very different sisters. The snowy setting adds a lovely old-fashioned traditional Christmas feel to a very modern family coming together.

This is truly a heartwarming read of encouragement, support and acceptance. I don't want to give anything away as I don't want to spoil it for any one yet to read it. The story had me completely eng ...more
