What Members Thought

A group of college friends have met for the past ten years to see the New Year in. This year they travel to a remote hunting lodge/resort in the remote Scottish Highlands. A blizzard hits the area and the friends are snowed in and cut off from the outside world. A guest goes missing and the game keeper finds the body which shows it was not an accident. The police can not get in to investigate due to the weather.

This was an intriguing and fast read.
All of the characters were pretty horrible and gross. I spent most of the book wishing certain characters would be the murder victim. There were some characters that seemed to be added to bulk out the suspect pool and had no real involvement in the story at all, whereas others were more flushed out. It was a bit difficult to keep track of them in the beginning but once I started to see the pattern, it became easier. I don’t think I actually liked any of t ...more
