A recommendation from a friend, a harsh but well written - or spoken, if you're consuming via audio like myself - argument about the Delusion of God and a discussion about the negative repercussions of religion in today's society using Christianity and Islam for many examples. A focus on the importance of a secular state and how that is not anti-religion but rather a way to encourage tolerance is what drew me to this book as a starter for 2019.
