What Members Thought

The first 100 pages I really liked this book, but then I got confused and bored. Do I need to learn anything from this? Did I miss the clue?

What did I just read?
I got off on the wrong foot by the authors self congratulatory foreword and there was little to redeem this book from there.
Somehow it was too rushed and too wordy at the same time. There was a half decent story hidden in all the pretentiousness but if this was longer I would not have finished it.
Edit: After reading some other 2 star books that have many problems but were better than this, I am downgrading this to 1 star.

I didn't like this book. I really wanted to, but from the outset it was too one-dimensional in form. It's purely a book of omens and messages about life and destiny, but none of it really resonated with me. Perhaps the author is deeply religious and I am sure it works for many people who believe. Extremely simply written and dead easy to read.

The plot was confused. The writer started well but couldn't conclude it properly as the novel deserved. Over-rated novel.
