Let me start this with I am not a fan of horror books but I am so happily content with the Institute being more suspenseful and real than many other of King's books. Yes there is the presence of evil, but this evil is real and the heroes of the story are the children whom we grow to know as if they are real, remarkable children with special powers, they are either TK, telekinetic or TP telepathic.
