this was a book club pick for one of the book clubs i am in and originally i didn't want to read it because the main character was struggling with the loss of her mother AND she had breast cancer so honestly it sounded quite depressing from the synopsis. i decided to at least try and pretty much read it in all one sitting so i have to say it definitely held my interest and i did actually really enjoy it after all. you know what they say about not judging a book by its cover, well i guess that go
