This is a very important book for any scientist who works with people (or parts of people). We always need to ensure that the needs of our participants are put first and that they have a complete understanding of what they are taking part in particularly those in often neglected communities.
This book really affected me and I highly recommend it.

so this was a non-fiction biography chosen by one of my book clubs. i do not read nearly as much non-fiction as fiction, probably because often the writing style is more serious and often deals with heavier subject matter and i do usually read to escape everyday reality. it is important to note that we have come a long way in science and technology since the start of when this book took place. although today there are still times where people are treated differently due to race and gender, it wa
