What Members Thought
What I l have liked most in this book is the friendship between the characters. Nice portrait of the way they lived during those years. Even if this book hasn’t impressed me that much it has been an interesting reading.
I did love the Steinbeck-ness, as usual, but I kinda feel like I have read Cannery Row twice. Slightly different characters who behaved like the Cannery Row friends for basically the same reason.
