Well now. That was interesting. I will do my best to be spoiler free. If this seems overly vague, I apologize. If you are one of the few who don't know what this book is about, you still won't know after reading this. You're welcome.
It is not often that I read, let alone enjoy, a book where I hate or dislike all the characters. Nick is a douche, Amy is certifiable, Go and Noelle are weak, Andie is a slut. The list goes on ad nauseam. This is new for me.

I had wanted to read this book for ages and I, at last, managed to. And I didn’t get disappointed. I knew there would be a twist but I didn’t expect that at all. Worth reading it and I will read more by this writer.

gone girl is about a dysfunctional couple who are new york city writers. when they both get laid off and once they start to have to dip into her trust fund (lucky for her she has incredibly wealthy parents), he decides they should move back to his hometown in missouri to help take care of his dying/ ailing parents before they kick the bucket. of course the cost of living is a lot cheaper in a small town in missouri, but they are both used ...more

Just ok. Not very inspiring. No real theme that I could pick up. I thought they deserved each other.
