A lot of different characters, found a bit difficult to follow each one but the story was good and I enjoyed the letters format of the book. Worth reading it.
This was a great book. At first I wasn't certain I could follow the back and forth of the entire book being correspondence, but it was easy once I got engaged. I favor World War II as a subject matter so the occupation of a Channel Island was really intriguing. The author soon won me over by creating a web of details and characters that became addictive. I really wished the book would have went on and that's how I know a book has left a great impression. My only critique was that the actual prot
