This book literally has only 4 or 5 star reviews with people gushing over it(I've been proved wrong😉), and I can't believe I'm saying this, but they're all very very true(in my opinion).
This book made me feel all those heartwarming emotions. It made me want to curl up in a warm blanket with a mug of hot chocolate and just enjoy it. It's the literary equivalent of a good Disney movie and it gave me so much happiness!!

I usually don’t read fantasy, but I loved this book! It starts slowly but the characters are appealing and different, as is the setting. Linus is a government employee who inspects orphanages for children who are magical - from a gardening gnome to a jellyfish with personality who dreams of becoming a bellhop. It all sounds ridiculously fanciful, but I felt myself drawn into really caring about the children. It is a lovely story.
