Shelves: favorites, thrillers

This is a twisty little gem, one of my favorite psych thrillers of 2023. I had to start it twice, because I found the MC a bit too smug in his rebelliousness (a law professor who refuses to dress like the other law professors, gasp), but getting past that was so worth it (and okay, the tenure position does end up being an important piece of the puzzle). The plot is so tightly-woven, and nothing, it turns out, is how it seems.

I read everything by this author because he writes interesting, engaging thrillers with plenty of twists and turns. This book was no exception and ended up being one of my favorite books of 2021. A wealthy couple have a secret. Could one of them be a killer? I loved this book so much. I would highly recommend this if you enjoy domestic thrillers that keep you guessing until the very end. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.
