What Members Thought
One of my all-time favorites, and a treasure that I revisit over and over. If you haven't discovered the wonder that is Larry McMurty, just go ahead and start with this one. Next I'd go with Horseman, Pass By, and then just dive headfirst into one of the best works of contemporary fiction in America in the last 30 years at least, Lonesome Dove. Of course, these have all been made into beautiful films (Horseman, Pass By became "Hud"), which are nice accompaniments to the novels, but with Pictu
