I normally prefer contemporary mysteries, but I loved this! The logic of the crime was satisfying, and there is justice in the end (one thing you can't always count on with contemporary mysteries). Great fun! ...more

I have been reading a lot of mysteries lately and this by far was my favorite. The incredible mind of Hercule Peroit at his best. A must read!

Tergolong mengagumkan untuk zaman 1920-an. Sekarang, mungkin cara detektif memecahkan masalah sedikit berbeda, bisa jadi lebih cepat karena ada bantuan teknologi.

Tapi detektif mana pun yang terjebak badai salju di dalam kereta di tengah pegunungan pasti akan berpikir keras dan menggunakan cara yang tergolong kuno namun efektif: "putar otak keras-keras"..

Menarik dibaca untuk melatih daya berpikir visual, linear sekaligus lateral.
