This woman puts me to shame with her cultural knowledge of the places she visits, and the conversations she has on the way. Her travels seem remarkably bereft of the little challenges that I seem to face, or does she just leave them out and write only of what she finds that enriches her? Her travels are about her inner journey as much as the miles covered. Sending postcards home to herself? Genius!
