Wow - I felt the writing style in this book was phenomenal. I guess she is a poet by trade, and has only written two novels. I loved the characters she came up with, faulty as they were. All were so full of life and personality. I really enjoyed being a part of their lives. In fact, there wasn't one character in the book that I thought was uninteresting. This was an interesting book. It took me a long time to warm up to the characters and when I did events in the book made me question if I still liked them. I still wonder if I read "Love Walked In" first if it would not have taken so long for me to get to know the characters,

I really enjoyed this book after just reading the author's first novel. I was in love with these characters all over again. I loved the little quotes the author had before some of the chapters also. I do think I got a lot more out of this book by reading "Love Walked In" first, but this can definitely can stand alone too.
