Just finished re-reading this along with the “Harry Potter and the Sacred Text” podcast. Loving doing a closer read on all of the books.
This book goes on for quite a while before Harry and crew even arrive at Hogwarts and it was much longer than the first three which might be harder on kids but I really liked it.

Just to be clear, this review is commenting on the quality of the Indonesian translations of the Harry Potter series, not the quality of the Harry Potter series itself.
I can only imagine it is quite a burden translating one of the most popular book series of all time; those whose publications are global events by themselves. Having said that, I do think that the translator did a commendable job. The first few books, particularly books one to three, are very shaky and rough. It doesn't help that ...more

I loved this one too, but it's almost too long! Of course.. I had previously read the others just before.. so maybe I just needed a break. :) I'm looking forward to reading the next three now!
