This re-read was just as wonderful this time around.
I listened to this audiobook with my five-year-old son during some long car rides. He's a Tolkien fan -- He's already heard the story told, then the book read aloud, then watched the cartoon version of the movie. He dressed up as Smaug for Halloween one year. He built a complicated Lego model of Bilbo's house. So he was familiar with the story. We enjoyed listening to this production.
