Let me start by saying, I'm not a huge Nora Roberts fan. When I say that, I mean, I don't seek a book out because she's the author. However, I listened to the audio book and the narrator was amazing. She captivated me and I didn't want the book to end. You know you're listening to an amazing narrator when you forget that a woman is narrating a mans voice (or several men's voices) so perfectly. I really really liked this book. The story was fantastic and I was lost in the book in the very beginni ...more

I always think that I should read more of romantic suspense because it's a really good mix of things I like in my reads. And they very quickly too! I also think that I should read more of Nora Roberts / J.D. Robb but I don't... Too many books vying for my attention!

Oh my god....one of the best Nora Roberts books in years....and I say that as a huge fan of this author! The book just grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go. This book had suspense, intrigue, mystery, extraordinary writing, humor and amazing character development. Elizabeth/Abigail is now my favorite all-time character from a Nora Book. There were so many turns this book could have gone...but the ending that Nora Roberts chose was perfect...and slighly unexpected. This book was clever ...more

It was a fun read. The beginning was exciting and drew me into the story right away. The middle had more than enough romance. I'm more of a suspense person. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to those that like romance.

The story line is about a young girl who gets herself in the position of a witness to a mob hit. She goes into hiding and reluctantly falls in love with a local guy. There is love, revenge and suspense to this story. A typical Nora Roberts book. I liked it. For me there cou
