Two things happened in this book that are two of my particular pet peeves:

1. One character gives everything, the other one takes: Evan was the one that made all the effort in this relationship. When they were young, they had dated but Kendall left him without an explanation because she misinterpreted the way he reacted to something. Hmm, if I hadn't read the first two books of the series, this might have been a 4 star read, but as a 4th installment, it's sort of disappointing. I mean, I ate through the pages. The story had me hooked, but then once it was over, looking back on the journey...it left me with an "only 3 stars" taste in my mouth.

I found that I liked Evan a lot more in this book than any of the others. His previous bitter attitude was explained here, but unlike Suzanne in the last book, he didn't cling to his bit

This was a good read. I really enjoyed both Evan and Kennedy's characters.

I'm looking forward to Tuesday's story in Slow Ride :D

This was cute, but I would have liked the (view spoiler) prior to the end of the book, but I'm hoping we'll find out more of that in the next book. Kendall really pissed me off by not fighting for what she wanted. I gave her a break when she did that when she was 18. She was a kid then. But to have her to the same thing 10 years later was just too much for me. I don't think she deserved Evan to tell you the truth. ...more
