Gross
I don't gross out very easily but this short story (novella?) was just disgusting. It seemed like they sat down together and just tried to think of how they could make it as 'extreme' as possible.
It is also incredibly derivative. It starts a lot like Jeepers Creepers with a touch of Canavan's Backyard thrown in. Then a lot of gore filler. I'd skip.

This is a 40 page short story that I bought for $3.99 on my nook. While it was much better than last year's Mile 81, it still wasn't one of King's best. I'd probably give it 2.5 stars. The setup was interesting, but it started to go a little off the rails. I thought the gore was more for shock value than anything else.
