I bought a used copy of this book for a group read. I have read other books by this author which I have given the average 3 star rating but I do think this is worthy of more.

I am not sure the setting is important in where in the world it was but I do think "when" in time was important. I loved the idea that our idea of Old Father time was related to the first person to identify that time was important and could be measured.

I may have gone into this with the wrong attitude because it did nothing for me. Too simplistic by far, & not a patch on Five People... or Tuesdays.... Too much reliance on god & the way things be. The story is good enough, but it took me a little while to get interested. I should have been more emotionally involved with the characters. I felt nothing.
