I kind of wanted to take the heroine and give her a good shake. The plot felt recycled from the first novel in the series, and I'm not sure I really believed the ending would go that way. BUT it is a light, breezy read and I might have just been in the mood for something else when I read it?

I didn't think Kinsella could top the first in this series. But she did. This was a lot of fun to read, especially since I have lived in Manhattan. Seeing also how the main character starts up a totally new line of work was fun too.

The Australian title for this book would be 'Shopaholic Goes Abroad'.
Great for a quick and fun read and much better than the first Shopaholic book.
