So much better than expected, just like the first one. I really should know better by now than to doubt Kelley Armstrong!
Elena Michaels still holds strong as one of the most refreshing female characters I've come across in a long time. She had me hysterics for majority of the book (and with Clay involved, double the laughter). Also despite certain doubts, I enjoyed many of the new characters. Paige is probably the only character I thoroughly disliked, so I'm not looking forward to the next book ...more

This is the second book in the Women of the Otherworld series and although I haven't actually read the first one yet (sacrilage I know) it was still a thoroughly enjoyable read. The story is narrated through Elena, a female werewolf, who gets captured, escapes, then goes back to get some series revenge.
