What Members Thought

This felt like a novella. It was fun, quick, and there was zero progress with the characters. In fact, you can skip this book and miss nothing in the story. I was let down, but I’ve been excited all year, waiting for Stephanie to return. I couldn’t get excited about Ranger or Morelli when she’s starting to lust over man number three. I think I’m over the triangle. Also, hamsters live 3 to 5 years, on a healthy kibble and veg diet. Rex is either a super hamster or he’s been replaced.

In this installment, Stephanie is after a guy who thinks he is a zombie and trying to keep her grandmother from flying off to Florida to meet her newest beau. Diesel makes an appearance so Stephanie has to juggle him, Ranger, and Morelli. I will continue to read the series as long as the author continues to write them. The only criticism is the book ended rather abruptly.

I'm always excited to read a Stephanie Plum book when Diesels pops mysteriously into her life. He's one character I'd like to learn more about. This book, like always, is filled with hijinks and laugh-out-loud moments. I know what I'm getting when I read a book by Ms. Evanovich and she always delivers.
