Scorcher seemed to be a pit of a prick in 'Faithful Place' so we'll see what happens in this one.

Ah, such a sad sad story of life happening the way we didn't expect it to. This book convinced me that Tana French is one of those awesome authors I should add on my favorites list. More thoughts soon.

"Scorcher" is introduced in the third book of the series but this book is all his. I like that the book focuses on a different cop. It makes the book almost a stand-alone yet has a continuous thread for a series. Well-written. Great story with psychological twists and turns I did not foresee. Wonderful read! Highly recommended.
