This book had a boring beginning for me. The conversations were repetitive and the action seem to be going in circles. Worse, I had tons of questions and I didn't seem to be getting any answers.

This book was very well written. It is the rare fantasy novel that is character driven rather than plot driven. The story is about the men traveling together rather than the quest itself.
