I really enjoyed this. I thought it was a really well-written young adult novel. I loved the fact that the book was relatable despite the fact there were a lot of the Southeast Asian traditions present in the book. I think I really identified with Dimple when she was talking about not belonging when she is in America because Indian-American but then not fitting in in India because she's from America. What a double-edged sword. And her description was so perfect.

This was a good story. The one thing that got to me was the fact that the author used itch instead of scratch. Didn’t she have proof readers and editors? Why didn’t anyone catch this and correct it? ;) It was nice to read about a woman in software development.

Quick, sweet young adult book about a pair of Indian American teenagers who are promised to each other but only one of them is aware of the arrangement when they meet at a summer program for coders. Light and breezy and just what I needed after a few heavier reads.

Better near the end than I expected

This was light and a bit brainless. Rushing was pretty unbelievable as a character. All good, no flaws. Things were pretty much too easy. But if that’s what you want in a book, this was fine.
