Somehow I got through high school without ever reading To Kill a Mockingbird. In college, I saw a play based on the book, so I felt like I knew the characters and the storyline. But I had never read the book. And until Goodreads, I never realized that I was the only person in the entire world who hadn't read it! Trying to point out the good parts of this book is a futile effort. To Kill A Mockingbird has been around for decades, and once you read it, you'll soon discover why.
The book touches on what is obviously a sensitive issue of racism and ignorance but it's written in such a way that all I can about it is that it is warm, liquid, and comfortable.
