This was a very quick and enjoyable read.
Brynn is a healer who has been given to Lord Gage Dumont as spoils of war, in hopes of healing his dying friend Malik. Gage finds himself quite enamoured with Brynn which is very unusual, he usually takes what he needs and moves on.
