I enjoyed reading this book but it was difficult to keep reading. Some of the characters talk in the dialect of the English Lake District. I read this by just allowing the dialog flow through my brain and was able to follow most of the action. The actions of many of the people in the story are disturbing, especially the so-called scientists at the research center. It is definitely not a "quick read." ...more
