I really enjoyed this. I especially loved getting a glimpse of the Hindi culture in New Zealand. It was quite interesting as a person of color to see how some of the things in the book translated to my own culture (especially with colorism).
But, I loved the way that Nayna was trying to find herself in a way that stayed true to her beliefs but let her not feel so trapped by the expectations placed on her by family. And I loved even more how much Raj was willing to support her in that. I'm so gla ...more
