I loved this interesting story of literary agent Lyn going to spend Christmas in Wales. This book had a great character in Lyn, who was still grieving the loss of her baby five years ago. The rest of the cast of characters was very interesting, and some of them were really mysterious. I enjoyed the tie-in to the King Arthur legends, and thought the storyline was interesting and compelling. I loved the Wales setting and thought it provided the perfect atmosphere for the story. 2.5* Lyn is a literary agent who goes on holiday for Christmas with her client and friend Bridget to Angle. Lit is there that her nightmares change from the sin she lost as a baby to a baby that she needs to protect. She meets A local woman, Elen, who believes a dragon is after her baby. People think Elen is mad, or grieving the loss of her husband. But is there truth in what Elen believes?

I really loved this. It reminded me of The Dark Is Rising by Susan Cooper, which is one of my favourite books, although apart from the Arthurian connection and the fact that it was set just before Christmas the two are nothing alike. It just generated a similar atmosphere of mystery and myth. 4.5 stars.
