I think Rose’s English family is rather foolish to believe they can mold a grown woman into what they want her to be especially after so many years of living in the Wild West with 4 brothers. Even more it was foolish of them to believe that not allowing her to talk about them would actually help her to fit into their world. Or even make her want to stay with them
