The book is slow to start as the investigation builds momentum, but the tension ratchets up in the second half and doesn't let go until the very end.

This was really great. I enjoyed the story but it was interesting watching Eve discovered she had so many people close to her. She's discovering the family she's made is wonderful and after all she went through, who wouldn't love that for her.

This was a really interesting book in the series. Eve is a respected and admired member of the NYPSD. Now that admiration turns into obsession from someone who must have links to the station. Eve's single mindedness and determination are unchanged but this book shows more of the way in which she cares for her colleagues and vice versa. Their relationships underpin the successful outcome
