What Members Thought

Encouraged by buddy reads, I read this next instalment of Thomas Cromwell trilogy. I found this second book to be somewhat faster. Not in plot, of course, as to that it gets rather slow, but I think it is because of familiarity. I've only just finished Wolf Hall about 10 days prior to starting Bring Up the Bodies so I found I was on familiar ground; of the author's writing (specifically the annoying perspective), setting, and characters.

So interesting to hear history told in the present tense. I love having the perspective of a peripheral figure to the court more so that hearing the story focused on a leader. This is the middle book of a trilogy about Thomas Cromwell. I definitely have to read the ending. Loved hearing the dirty details about the end of Anne Boleyn's story.
