I thought this was good. It was entertaining but I have to admit I wasn't a huge fan of Dennis Quaid narrating. I think some less famous people who a great narrators would have been better.

But anyway, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this but I needed this book for a challenge (Pop Sugar 2019). But I had fun listening and reading this. The U.S. is facing a cyber attack that will cripple the country and the President and his inner circle are trying to figure out how they can stop it. The President is being questioned about some of the decisions he has made lately by the media, people want answers and the President just can't give them at this point, or it will send the country into a panic. There also seems to be a Traitor in the White house! All of this with the deadline hanging over their heads.

I really enjoyed the story and

I don't know what it is recently that makes established mystery/thriller authors hook up with well-known figures to write books, but as such things go, this succeeded fine. Characters other than the president weren't fleshed out very fully, but the non-stop action, intrigue, and suspense were more than enough to make up for that. A quick, absorbing read. ...more
