What Members Thought

Lori Gottlieb’s Maybe You Should Talk to Someone is an easy 5 stars. The memoir follows Lori through her journey to becoming a therapist, her own personal traumas, and several patients’ stories. Throughout the book, readers are educated on basic tenets of therapy and psychology. Overall, the biggest success of this book is normalizing mental health struggles. Pain is not a contest. We all deserve help getting through our pain. 🛋

I liked the author's writing style. As a social worker, I have experienced many of this author's therapist-client relationship stories. Therefore, I can truly relate. I enjoyed reading this book. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good read.
