I was really excited for this book because Firelight leaves us in such promising ending. But again nothing worthy happens. There’s the Tamar’s thing and Jacinda back and forth feelings that really annoys me and ... that’s all! I kept waiting for something to develop, and about halfway through the book, the story got really promising. Again! Talks about the consistency of the author.
Great start.

The good. Vanish contained plenty of action action and suspense. That alone kept me immersed in this series until the end. I enjoyed the ploy and overall, the characters.
The bad. Jacinda. I was patient throughout the first book with Jacinda having teenagers myself, but she begin to really rattle my nerves in Vanish. I enjoy it when a charcter shows growth over a series. In Vanish, her character almost seemed to regress. She went back and forth a little too much for my liking. So much so, that t ...more
