This book is beautiful beyond words; I am hesitant to venture a description. So I will talk about my feelings for it instead. Not now, not yet, but next time, maybe soon. ;)

I wish I hadn't read the intro to this book. It promised much that I didn't find in the work, and that makes it difficult to fairly evaluate what is there. Supposedly it's a terrific example of a "moral fable," and raises questions of the meaning of life. I don't see it.

this is too floaty and ethereal for me
I liked the book. 3 1/2 stars would be closer. I think I could benefit from reading it a second time.
