There’s always a twist to Paris’ books. I half guessed this one but as usual I was mostly wrong. A lot of red herrings and falling down the rabbit hole, it’s a quick read that every psychological thriller addict should tackle.
Wow she keeps getting better, loved this one, she totally got me with some twists.
I'll admit, I didn't see it coming. I know from Paris' previous books to expect a twist, and I thought I had this one figured out, but I was wrong! I didn't feel as much of a connection to the main characters this time around; in fact, I kind of didn't like them as people. But that's okay because it was still a compelling read with an interesting premise. Keep writing, B.A.!

Thank you to Net galley for the proof copy of this move. There are some really good reviews for this book about a girl who goes missing in France and then turns up some years later. I thought the writing style was good and easy to get immersed in at first. However there is something missing for me that would elevate it to a higher rating. It didn't, in my opinion, have enough suspense, too much was set out before you. The ending had a couple of twists but they were not big enough for me.

Could barely finish. Not a good choice for me.
Weird but nice twist!
I enjoyed the breakdown more - I wonder if it had to do with medium (listened vs. read)
