The quote, "don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" came to mind while reading this book because though saying good-bye to this series and its characters made me sad, I am so glad that I read this series. This was a truly stellar ending and I loved how everything ended up playing out and the fact that everyone got their happily ever after. The final installment of the Lunar Chronicles finds Cress and her friends head to Luna to attempt to overthrow Queen Levana. Though the book is titled Winter the character Winter's story doesn't dominate the book. Her story is somewhat a retelling of Snow White, without the dwarfs. I really like all the characters in the book but this book was way too long. The story constantly switches between all the characters and it takes a very long time for anything to happen. Solid ending to a solid series. Cinder is still far and away my favorite character in the bunch, with Scarlet and Iko a close second. More thoughts later.

Another series that Makes me sad because it has ended. Winter was a wonderful story to have ended with. I love how she mixed the elements of The story of Snow White into this amazing fantasy/Sci fi world. Finally all the characters converge and magic happens.
