Linus Baker works for the Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He's sent on a secret assignment to review the orphanage run by Arthur Parnassus. a beautiful queer fairytale with the kind of happy ending we should all be lucky enough to get.

I love it when a book makes you fall in love with the antichrist… oh wait, we don’t use that word around here.
