I really don't know how Herself does it. At around the 3/4 mark the book was really dragging for me but then the last 1/4 of the book picked up and it was sooo good that now all I can think of is starting the next book in the series. And this is me, the person who almost never read series book back to back but Ms. Gabaldon does it to me all the time.

I still like Jamie and Claire better than Bree and Roger, though.

The last of the series. Getting a bit potboilerish by this stage, but still a fan. Also read the "Lord John" books but didn't like them AT ALL.

Wow, this last book in the series (thank goodness another one is out next fall) was so full of events, so much happened. There was, also, much resolved, for which I was most grateful. I am so looking forward to Echo in the Bone next September.

I have a continuing love affair for her books. I first read this book in print then I have been listening to the series downloaded from the library to my phone.
I absolutely loved this book! Arguably my favorite so far in the series. I can't wait to see where Gabaldon continues to take these characters. I give it an A-.
