I should not have read this book at bedtime, because...clogged nose. Couldn't breathe. This is worth re-reading. More thoughts soon.

On The Jellicoe Road is one of those books that comes highly recommended by my friends at the book club. And I understand why. It talks about timeless themes of friendships, belongingness, and family, and of how relationships thrive despite having to go through grief and loss.

2 1/2 stars. I can see that the author is a very talented writer. I thought I would really like this book and I would have had it not been so confusing.

I really really love this book, it is my favourite melina marchetta book, and its just a wonderful book, i couldnt put it down. although it is a little bit slow in the very beginning but it picks up and its awesome.
