The sales-ladies at Whitcoulls talked me into this. In fact when I left the shop they were still debating which of the love interests (not even introduced in this first book in the series) Stephanie Plum should pursue!
This series seems to inspire a keen following. So....it's a very light fast read, and certainly there are very funny moments; but it's not great literature. Neither does it pretend to be.
I'll keep my options open on whether to tackle the other 14 books in this series. ...more

My first murder mystery that I have read wasnt all that bad. It was funny and had me wondering overall "who done it". Most def on the Plum wagon...I have got to find out more about Plum and Morelli.

This one's on my absolute favorites list. Not b/c #1 is necessarily my fav of the series, but b/c this series is one of my all time favs.
