This was a book that started off SO WELL and then seemed to run off the tracks. Caleb was a tremendously weak Dom. I lost all respect for him when he allowed himself to be handcuffed.
Characterization was poor, as both he and his captive had the same way of communicating. Livvie's thought processes were far too mature for a girl her age. There was so much tell, tell, tell of her feelings, that I got confused trying to figure out what she was feeling!!! ...more

What an amazing read, Captive in the Dark is truly captivating. Sucks you into this deep dark world of human trafficking and sexual slavery and center stage is Caleb and Livvie.

Caleb has kidnapped the young Livvie with the intent of turning her into a sex slave and auctioning her off to a powerful man as a pawn in his lifelong revenge plot.

Livvie is 18 and about to graduate, she’s both naïve and wise due to her upbringing and she has just work up in the middle of a nightmare.

Words fail me I just am blown away! I had an overwhelming urge to KILL Caleb.. But then I started to have feelings for him.. I almost feel sickened by my feelings right now.. My mind is still spinning so im not to sure I can even write a decent review...But I so recommend this book!! I am onto SITD now...
